National Environment for Everyone (EFE) Campaign and School Biodiversity Outreach Programme.

On Monday, 23 February, the Ministry of Environment, Climate Action, and Constituency Empowerment continued its youth outreach through the national Environment for Everyone (EFE) Campaign and School Biodiversity Outreach Programme.

The team spent the day connecting with students at Beach Allen Primary School, Cayon Secondary School, and Denzil Llewellyn Douglas Secondary School.

At Beach Allen Primary, students explored what climate change means for St. Kitts and Nevis and how it links to the country’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), National Adaptation Plan (NAP), and the goals of the EFE Campaign.

At the secondary schools, the conversation went a little deeper.

Students learned more about the United Nations Environment Programme and how the Federation is working to meet its climate commitments and strengthen its adaptation plans for the future. Most importantly, students were reminded that their ideas, voices, and involvement truly matter in building a more sustainable future.

We’re excited to keep the momentum going at the Ministry’s upcoming Climate Action and YOU(th) Symposium scheduled for Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
